The information and functionality in LazySend: Local File Transfer are provided for general use, as is, and without any warranty. Megamobi Technology does not guarantee that the app will meet your needs, work on every device or network, or be uninterrupted or error-free.

Network and security

• The app works over a local network. Anyone on the same network can see that your device exists while Receiving is on. Use it on networks you trust and switch Receiving off when you do not need it.
• Some Wi-Fi networks (public, guest or company networks, or routers with “client isolation”) block device-to-device traffic. VPNs and firewalls can also interfere. In those cases devices may not find each other.
• Always check who is sending a request and what the files are before you accept. Files from unknown senders may be harmful. We do not scan files for malware and are not responsible for harmful files you choose to accept.

Your files

Transfers can fail or be interrupted (for example when a device sleeps, loses Wi-Fi or runs out of space). Keep your own copies of anything important. We are not responsible for lost, corrupted or unintentionally deleted data, or for content that you or other people send or receive with the app.

Performance

Transfer speeds, call quality and discovery time depend on your devices, your Wi-Fi and the environment. Any figures shown in the app or on our site are examples, not promises. Video calls between two devices in the same room can cause echo; use headphones.

Third-party names

Android and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC. Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. LazySend is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by these companies, or by the makers of other file-sharing apps.

Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under the law of your country. See also the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
